Dr. Robert Pierce, founder of World Vision, said “Don’t fail to do something just because you can’t do everything”.
Every one of us can do something – some small thing – to help the people of Haiti. Noroton Presbyterian Church in
Darien, CT is filling a container with emergency supplies that will go to Love a Child. This NGO is 45 minutes
from Port Au Prince and it is feeding 45,000 people each day. To find out what supplies are needed,

or Eleanor Palmer at edppalmer@yahoo.com.
We celebrated a late Christmas with the Parker and Comstock families in mid-January. Thank you, Walt & Jeanne, for hosting our gathering,
which included four generations. John was the eldest member - and Kelina, who is two and half years old,
was the youngest.
Our Kenyan friend, Rev. Evalyn Wakhusama, spent two weeks here and met with many of the donors who are helping 55
needy and vulnerable children to go to Nambale Magnet School. To learn all about this new school in Western Kenya,
and to make an on-line donation, please see
www.nambalemagnet.org.
“Lace Your Place With Grace” was the theme of the Women’s Retreat sponsored by Noroton Presbyterian Church.
Jan Carlberg was the guest speaker - and ninety-five women attended, the oldest of which is 95 years of age.
Thank you Brandi, Laura and Sally, for all the time and energy you put into preparing for this
wonderful weekend of spiritual renewal. Please see
www.norotonchurch.org. to learn about lots of other opportunities that will help you to refresh
your soul.
You are ushering in another day untouched and freshly new. So here we come to ask You God, if you'll renew us too. Forgive the many errors that we made yesterday, Let us try again, dear God to walk closer in Thy way. But Father, we are well aware we can't make it on our own. So take our hands and hold them tight for we cannot walk alone. ~Maryknoll |
