Thank you friends of Rev. Evalyn Wakhusama for making it possible for her and her husband Sam and their children to move from their home of 23 years in KARI (Kenya Agricultural Research Institute) to an apartment in a safe area in Nairobi. Please pray for them as they adjust to life in their new neighborhood.

Chedester Family Bob and Jennifer Chedester and their youngest son Samuel visited friends at Noroton Presbyterian Church. NPC supports their mission work in Fort Portal, Uganda.

Marilyn's “Masai Herdsman in Kenya” photo was slected by the jury for the exhibit at the Rowayton Art Center.

Simba On St. Valentine’s Day, we went into New York City to see “The Lion King” - a Christmas gift from John’s daughters. It is a fabulous production that has been running on Broadway for 10 years. The costumes, scenery and special effects are incredible.

We enjoyed seeing University of Alberta friends again at the 19th annual Pasta Supper and skating in Central Park, below all the brilliantly lit high-rise buildings.

Angela, Irene and Jojo Twenty Rowayonite friends and neighbors gathered for brunch in our home one Sunday and everyone did their best to “chase away the winter blaas”.

We hosted our gourmand group at a Zanzibar Style Dinner one Sunday evening – and another Sunday, we visited Kenyan friends in New Jersey and enjoyed a festive Kikuyu dinner.

Renewing Our Vows Lent is traditionally a time for renewal – and so, after 17 years of married life, we renewed our vows and received a very special blessing at St. John Church.

And on a sad note, we attended the memorial service at Noroton Presbyterian Church for Barbara Geraghty.
